New babies need comfort when they are away from their mom!  Each Snuggle Buddy comes with a “heart” and two small watch batteries (turn off the “heart” when not in use to preserve battery life), 2 non toxic heat packs that will last about 20 hours, 1 washable terry cloth pouch for filling with dry uncooked heated rice if you don’t want to use the heat packs – this will last about 3 hours.

 

Each Snuggle Buddy also has a bottle pocket. This allows you to put a baby bottle in with the nipple sticking out between the right side legs. The bottle is fastened into place with a velcro tab so the baby can push and knead “mom” while drinking. The manufacturer suggests that you keep an eye on feeding babies for safety and that you don’t use the heat pack at the same time as you use the bottle.

 

There are no small parts to chew off a Snuggle Buddy – the eyes and facial features are all stitched and the belly pouch that houses the “heart” and heat packs is securely fastened with velcro for durability.
 
So your new baby will have warmth and a beating heart to keep it company in its new home.
