Parasitic worms are not only a potential threat for birds that live in outdoor aviaries. Birds that live indoors can get worms too! They can infiltrate the cleanest cage set up via new perches, natural foraging toys and even via humans. Birds are more likely to pick up parasitic worms when they are stressed and their immune system is compromised.

It is generally a good idea to deworm your bird regularly in the same way as you would your dog or cat as a preventative measure - and remember to give their living area a good clean at the same time.

Mediworm is a safe, broad spectrum deworming powder for cage and aviary birds.

It is really effective for Roundworm, Hairworm and Tapeworm infestation.

While this product is not soluble in water it can be mixed in with food and is safe to use in breeding season.
